Job Purpose:
Responsibility
for sales planning and productivity management programs, and for planning,
implementation and governance of the Variable Compensation Plan (VCP).
In
addition to this, the strategic intent of the role is to set up the direction
for embedding Analytics in the functions of the Retail business in the Middle
East, including Product Management, Segments management, Acquisition and
towards driving productivity.
Job Background/context:
The
position is a critical component of the management team of the Retail business,
reports to the Retail Management Head and includes the two geographies of
Middle East cluster – UAE and Bahrain
Key Responsibilities:
- Set
up and run a Sales Management Office for Retail business, ensuring that
the variable compensation plan for ME is as per the standards defined in
the applicable APAC EMEA VCP policy, being responsible for conducting
Country Steering Committee and Country Incentive Council reviews for the
VCP, being responsible for implementing, tracking and governance of
tactical contests for Retail, being the representative and point of
contact related to VCP for Retail with all Audit and Control functions
- Develop
and implement productivity management programs for the Retail business
- Develop
and implement relevant operating model changes in order to ensure a
culture of client centricity, advisory based sales and full compliance to
all requirements
- Work
out and manage an effective communication strategy with the Retail and
Sales team on multiple on-going initiatives across the board
- Drive
and measure progress against identified ‘Must Win Battles’
- Provide
the interface for the Retail business with the Financial Planning and
Analysis unit, including monitoring and analysis of Retail financials
- Strategically
drive, manage and work with Decision Management, Regional office and other
internal / external partners to provide relevant, meaningful and
actionable insights to the various functions within the Retail business
- Help
the Retail Head embed a culture of Data and Analytics based decision
making and management within the Retail business. Help the Retail Head
embed Data and Analytics as an enabler to the business
- Significantly
upgrade the usage of available Data and Analytics tools, while helping
identify and utilizing newly emerging analytics tools and techniques

Knowledge/Experience:
- 5-10
years’ experience of which includes leading and executing impactful change
programs
- Strong
financial aptitude coupled with proven quantitative, analytical and
strategic planning skills
- Experience
in emerging analytics and related software tools with competencies in
design, analysis and roll out.
- Ability
to multi-task and possess an analytical mind to identify streamlining
opportunities basis analytic outputs and people management skills
- Requires
strong inter-personal skills as the position requires influencing key
units’ decision makers
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s
degree in Business, Finance or Engineering with further qualifications
considered a plus
- Fluent
in English with additional languages considered a plus
- Certified
qualifications related to analytics will be an advantage

to manage buy-in from all stakeholders, inspire a common view and put
people together to achieve business goals.

process and project management experience.
